The procedure is often referred to as “Teeth in a Day” because in many cases, you can leave the office with a set of temporary fixed teeth on the same day as surgery. However, the full healing process—including getting your final set of permanent teeth—typically takes 3-6 months. This allows the implants to fully integrate with your jawbone for maximum stability.

The cost varies depending on how many implants are placed and whether additional procedures, like Bone Grafting, are needed. While All-on-X is a bigger upfront investment than traditional dentures, it offers a permanent, life-changing solution. All-on-4, All-on-6, and All-on-8 refer to the number of implants used to support a full-arch prosthetic. All-on-4 uses four implants, All-on-6 uses six, and All-on-8 uses eight, with more implants generally offering added stability, especially for patients with strong bone density.

A Fixed Hybrid is a type of full-arch implant restoration that is permanently attached to the implants and cannot be removed by the patient. While All-on-X treatments use a fixed hybrid prosthetic, the term “Fixed Hybrid” is sometimes used to describe restorations that may include a titanium or zirconia framework for added strength and longevity. Your surgeon will recommend the best option based on your bone structure, bite force, and long-term goals.

The surgery itself is done under Anesthesia, so you won’t feel any pain during the procedure. Afterward, you may experience some swelling and mild discomfort for a few days, similar to other dental surgeries. Most patients find the recovery manageable with over-the-counter pain medications, and your surgeon will provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth healing process.
